As Director of Strategy for Academic City, a premium university in Ghana, Sunitha drove the setup of the institution since 2016, including devising and implementing institutional strategy as well as bringing on-board senior leadership and the core team. Now she continues to drive the strategic alignment and institutional functioning for Academic City, along with the President of Academic City, including strategic planning for the integration of innovation-driven learning into the academic fiber, enabling STEM education through new contexts and paradigms while prioritizing gender parity, cultivating local and foreign corporate partnerships and institutional alliances, and building the core brand to foster a value-driven venture.

Sunitha’s professional experience spans across mostly the USA, as well as Africa and India, and ranges across management consulting, strategy, business development, and operations management. With a prior career in strategy consulting at Deloitte in New York, USA, Sunitha’s expertise has been in designing and enabling sophisticated business solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Sunitha holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, USA.
