Mrs. Nancy Ampah is the Chief Executive Officer of Nationwide Medical Insurance. She has been and is very instrumental in driving the business strategy of NMI which has led to Nationwide’s current position as the market leader in the private health insurance industry. She holds an M. Sc. in Biological Sciences and an MBA [MIS Option].

She is a past student of Holy Child School, Cape Coast. She has extensive experience in research [School of Public Health] and health insurance, having worked with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) from its inception in senior management. She has acquired skills in project management, financial management, risk assessment and management, health insurance, leadership and governance.

She has presented and participated in several local and international conferences and seminars on health insurance and is currently the Vice President of the Private Health Insurance Association of Ghana (PHIAG). She is married with two children. She loves reading and travelling.
